Welcome.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depressed mood, are concerned about family or other relationships, are adjusting to a new stage in life, recovering from traumatic experiences, working through grief and loss, or exploring your sense of self -- therapy can help. Together, we will work to improve your quality of life and your satisfaction in relationships, to develop new awareness and insight, and to manage mental health concerns to allow you to better live your values.
At the heart of any type of therapy is trust; I aim to create a therapeutic relationship based on compassion, empathy, and acceptance, and to provide a safe space for you to share your story and explore your inner world. My approach is integrative, combining relational, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. We will work together to understand the origin and function of current patterns of behavior, including exploring early relationships and belief systems. I adapt to meet you where you are, so while we may look for connections between the past and the present, we will also work to build on coping strategies and to help you more confidently cope in your daily life.
I welcome your phone call to answer any questions, assess our fit, and schedule a first appointment, (585)-237-8956.
