Couples Therapy
Dr. Scott provides therapy for couples in any stage of their relationship. Common goals of couples' work include improving communication, conflict resolution, deepening areas of intimacy and connection, and navigating life changes (e.g., career, having children, health changes, relocation, finances).
In addition, at times during individual work (if/as relevant), we may discuss the benefits of inviting a loved one (partner, family member, friend) to session(s) for specific and focused work on a relational issue.

Supervision and Consultation
Dr. Scott has served as a supervisor for pre-doctoral trainees at university counseling centers in the Northeastern and Midwestern United States. She now offers ongoing individual supervision or consultation for healthcare providers in the community -- including social work and psychology graduate students and early career professionals -- designed at supporting you in your professional goals and in processing the rich dynamics and unique joys and challenges of clinical work. Dr. Scott is active in both psychodynamic and mindfulness-based (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/ACT) trainings and forums at the national and local levels. She also provides coaching for individuals interested in developing their own private practice. She approaches supervision as a collaborative experience and prioritizes creating a safe, warm environment in which to process, receive support, and grow.
